Ever since I could pick up a crayon I was drawing horses. My parents could never figure out why. Horses aren't in our family history by any means & I could never get enough of them. Whether it was drawing them as I became an artist, or asking to get as close as I could to any horse I came in contact with, I had bitten the "horse bug". As soon as I hit 9 yrs old my parents finally let me take lessons, and the rest is history. My passion for riding and capturing them with a pencil led to photographing them. They will always be what led me to picking up a camera and bringing to life the most amazing bond between horse and human.
From there led to families, then a step farther and snapping memories of a newborn's first few days of life. I love the creativity of photographing a sweet little one into those sweet and tight womb poses.
When I am not hiding behind my computer editing or headed off to another fun shoot, I can be often found out riding my horse, loving on our Corgi, or soaking up some rays with my hubby in Islamorada.
